Mediterranean cosmetics, a new way to care for your hair

Having spent much of my life by the Mediterranean, and with part of my training linked to the Mediterranean Diet — a valuable cultural heritage that is more than a rich, healthy way of eating: it is a way of life — I have brought this knowledge into cosmetics.

I have created a hair care ritual, an effective and natural solution for the women and men of today who care about the condition of their hair, inspired by the timeless values of the Mediterranean.

Effectiveness, authenticity, ingredients, a voice of our own, accessibility and a love of Mediterranean values… our language.

A hair care ritual inspired by the Mediterranean

The Mediterranean inspires the MODESTA CASSINELLO hair care line. A proposal built on "comfort" and botanical essence. "Comfort" not only in the sense of ease, but as cosmetics that look after you and make you feel good. Designed for men and women all over the world who have caught this way of life, and suitable for every hair type: oily, dry, brittle, weak and/or sensitive with hair loss.

Innovative Mediterranean actives in our formulas

1. An antioxidant active derived from artichoke that keeps the cuticle scales cohesive, preventing the breakdown of the components of the hair fibre (keratin and lipids).
2. A complex derived from carob, able to increase the strength and elasticity of the fibre, protecting it against damage from mechanical, heat and chemical processes.
3. A complex derived from brown algae typical of the Mediterranean, able to restore hair's natural shine.
4. Mediterranean fruit vinegar. As well as rebalancing the pH of hair that may have been compromised by colouring or heat treatments, this active refreshes the scalp and neutralizes the limescale in water. It smooths the hair cuticle, creating a better surface for light to reflect off, adding shine.

Our hair care ritual includes 3 types of shampoo and 1 conditioner. Versatile, easy-to-use, high-performance formulas that can be combined and work in synergy: a sensory journey that brings calm and serenity.

The shampoos in this ritual go from being a treat to being your allies in caring for your hair. They are more than a cleansing formula: they nourish the hair fibre without weighing hair down or making it greasy. They have a soft texture that turns into a very pleasant lather when you apply it. They cleanse without drying, moisturize and soothe irritation. What's more, the added actives work to achieve a cohesive hair fibre — the key to healthy, well-cared-for hair — protecting it from environmental aggressors and from the loss of natural or artificial colour.

The conditioner in this hair care ritual is an essential step to seal the hair fibre and help protect it. Its light texture leaves hair loose and full of movement, with great resistance to breakage.

1. H01 Frequent Use Shampoo "No fear of every day". Its formula, enriched with moisturizing agents typical of the Mediterranean, frees your hair from the impurities that dull it and/or leave it unprotected day after day.
2. H02 Repairing Shampoo "Get your hair back". If your hair looks frizzy, dry, weak and brittle, this is your shampoo. Specifically formulated to moisturize the scalp and improve the integrity of the hair fibre, making it harder for hair to break with every application.
3. H03 Shine and Vitality Shampoo "Show off your hair". A shampoo designed to boost your hair's radiance, that touch of beauty we love to see in it. A shampoo with no fragrance and no colourants: maximum care and respect for your scalp and hair.
4. H04 Revitalizing Conditioner "Rebel my way". Its aim is to improve the look of hair that is rebellious by nature. After washing, it has a beautifying and preventive effect, giving your hair the qualities you always want: shine, flexibility and softness.
