This soap dispenser is suitable for sticking to smooth, non-porous surfaces such as tiles, glass and natural stone. Its adhesive is waterproof and suitable for wet areas.

Please note! It does not stick properly to rough, porous or textured surfaces. To ensure a secure, long-lasting hold, follow the installation instructions carefully.

Important: the fixing must be checked regularly. If there is any movement or the plate starts to come away, remove the dispenser immediately to prevent it from falling.

Application steps:

1. Clean: Make sure you clean the area where the plate will be stuck thoroughly, removing dust, grease, limescale, soap and moisture. Use a solvent such as alcohol or acetone to degrease it. Let the surface dry completely before continuing.
2. Remove the protective film: Take the mounting plate off the dispenser, then peel off the red protective film. Do not touch the adhesive.
3. Press firmly: Press the mounting plate firmly over the entire adhesive surface, making sure it is precisely aligned. The adhesive tape only sticks on its first application and cannot be reused, although the plate can be reused with a special adhesive for bathroom accessories. Wait 60 minutes before attaching the dispenser.
4. Slide the dispenser on: Slide the dispenser onto the mounting plate from the top.

How secure and long-lasting the fixing is depends on the type and condition of the surface, on preparing the area correctly and on following the installation and maintenance instructions.

The plate must only be placed on a smooth, stable, clean, dry and non-porous surface. The adhesive tape is designed for a single application and must not be reused once removed.

Before attaching the dispenser, check that the plate is firmly stuck. During use, check the fixing regularly and remove the dispenser immediately if you notice any movement or separation along any of its edges.

Modesta Cassinello cannot guarantee the fixing when installation is not carried out in accordance with these instructions, when the surface is not suitable, or when the dispenser continues to be used after signs of loss of adhesion have been detected.

How to remove the dispenser:

To take the dispenser down, gently warm the base plate with a hairdryer and use a spatula or knife if necessary.

The dispenser is designed for use in wet areas, but continuous exposure to water, steam, temperature changes and cleaning products can, over time, affect any adhesive fixing system.

To keep it in optimal condition and help prevent it from falling:

• Check regularly that the plate is still fully stuck to the wall.
• Pay particular attention to the edges and make sure there is no separation, movement or loss of adhesion.
• Always press the pump vertically, avoiding pushing or pulling the dispenser sideways.
• Take the bottle off the plate to refill it, and avoid handling it while it is still mounted on the wall.
• Dry the outside of the bottle thoroughly before putting it back.
• Avoid aiming the hot water jet at the mounting plate for long periods.
• Do not use abrasive products, solvents or harsh cleaners around the adhesive area.
• Do not overfill the bottle or use particularly thick products that require excessive pressure on the pump.

If you notice any movement, separation at the edges or loss of adhesion, stop using the dispenser and remove it immediately so that it cannot fall. The plate must not be used again until it has been securely re-fixed with an adhesive that is suitable for bathroom accessories and compatible with the surface.

The fixing should be checked more often in showers exposed to high humidity, high temperatures or frequent temperature changes.
