Secrets to a nighttime care ritual that will revitalize your hair
We invest a lot of time and effort into our nightly skincare ritual, but what about our hair? Who doesn't want to go to bed and wake up with beautiful hair?
Today we asked our founder Modesta about her skincare ritual to wake up with softer, looser, and more beautiful hair . These treatments will not only improve the beauty of your hair but will also contribute to the health of your scalp.
Nighttime hair care
1. I gently brush my hair , removing any tangles that may have developed during the day. I gently massage my scalp with my fingers, the perfect massage tools for releasing accumulated tension.2. When cleansing my face, I remove the hair near my forehead and temples with The Clippendales bobby pins , available on our website. There are two reasons why I always choose these bobby pins:
- I avoid the cleansers or creams I apply to my face from staining my hair.
- They leave a mark on my hair once I remove them.
4. I apply a few drops of H10 Sublime Oil to the mid-lengths and ends before going to bed. It reduces friction between my hair and the pillow and keeps the areas drier.
Its innovative selection of Mediterranean oils with an elegant feel, light application, and quick absorption can soften, enhance shine, and protect overnight, leaving you with more beautiful hair when you wake up. Applying a few drops evenly throughout your hair can make all the difference.
5. I use a silk pillowcase , which I change regularly. Sleeping with a silk pillowcase on my pillow creates less friction and can prevent tangles, split ends, and even breakage. Plus, since silk absorbs less moisture than cotton, it can also reduce dryness.
Silk is also a material that can maintain temperature and can somehow make hair more comfortable during times of sweating during the night.
While sleeping with a silk pillowcase isn't a magic solution for beautifying your hair, I do think it's an easy gesture to incorporate into your haircare routine.
6. I remove any bobby pins or elastic bands that could pinch my hair and cause it to break before bed. If you want to tie it back, we recommend tying it in a braid or with a silk elastic to prevent it from breaking easily.
A nightly hair care ritual, just like your skin, not only keeps your hair more beautiful but also healthier. Treating your hair at night before bed can make all the difference.
"It's these moments of relaxation and self-care throughout the day that contribute to our well-being." Modesta
