Let's step together into the fascinating world of hair beauty, where H10 Sublime Oil stands as the standard of excellence.
Understanding hair, its lipid content and the use of oils
Hair is a keratin tissue: keratin is the main protein in hair. It's a tissue with a mainly protective function, but as well as proteins it also contains lipids, in both its internal and external structure.
These lipids are fatty components whose main role is as a barrier: they stop water passing from the outside to the inside, but they also contribute to the structure, diffusion and mechanical properties of the hair.
Until recently, little attention had been paid to lipids, but today we know they play a key role. The lipid content of hair decreases from root to tip, just as the hair's tensile properties decrease.
At the same time, the absence of lipids, together with a disorganized cuticle, reduces light reflection, so hair loses much of its natural shine, one of the most important and sought-after cosmetic qualities in hair.
Sunlight, pollution and the treatments we put our hair through — washing, "styling" and colouring — alter the lipid content of the hair. For all these reasons, using oils to soften and protect the hair is recommended
The solution? H10 Sublime Oil
A selection of Mediterranean oils with an elegant feel, light application and quick absorption that beautify your hair. A silicone-free, effective and clean oil, suitable for all hair types, especially dry and damaged hair, or fine, fragile hair with split ends. It leaves a light, dry feel, which makes it very well suited to minimizing frizz.
Who is H10 Sublime Oil for?
- Hair that is dry and damaged by dyes, bleaching, highlights, regular use of heated tools and/or exposure to UV radiation. Applying H10 Sublime Oil improves cuticle sealing, softens your hair and enhances its colour.
- Healthy hair. H10 Sublime Oil protects and revitalizes healthy hair against the external factors that alter keratin and lipids every day, weakening it.
When should you use this hair oil?
1. As a pre-shampoo
Used as a pre-shampoo, applied to dry hair before washing, H10 Sublime Oil reduces "hygral fatigue" by forming an occlusive layer. This occlusive layer stops the cuticle from swelling during washing, limiting the curling of the outermost cuticle and therefore the damage.
2. On wash days, after towel-drying.
Applied to damp hair, H10 Sublime Oil strengthens the surface structures by forming an internal occlusive layer, protecting them from heat before drying.
If you have oily hair but dry mid-lengths and ends, don't hesitate to apply it to damp hair after towel-drying. Add it to the ends before combing for more shine, softness and frizz control. Just take particular care when applying it, avoiding applying it too close to the scalp.
3. On dry hair.
Every day you can apply a few drops of Sublime Oil to the driest areas of your hair as a finishing product. During the day and before bed, as it's a light, fast-absorbing formula, it softens, protects and boosts shine.
How do you use the hair oil?
Its dropper bottle makes it easy to dispense 3–4 drops, enough for medium-length hair.
The oil has a very pleasant floral-citrus scent. Apply it to the ends and mid-lengths of your hair, then use your fingers to smooth down "flyaways" or "baby hair", those little hairs on top of your head that can be so annoying.
You can mix this oil with H09 Nourishing Hair Mask and with conditioner to give even more support to very dry hair.
Do you need to rinse out the hair oil?
No, once you've applied it you don't need to rinse this oil out. Your hair will gradually take up all the nutrients this oil provides.
What about its colour?
It's practically colourless and comes in a fully opaque glass bottle to protect it from light and prevent oxidation and changes in shade. A lot of work went into its colour so that it has extra quality without adding yellow or orange tones to the hair, which is why it's especially suitable for cool blonde and white hair.
H10 Sublime Oil ingredients
A carefully studied selection of natural Mediterranean oils and innovative complexes with a high percentage of monounsaturated fatty acids, antioxidants, ceramides and vitamin E. H10 Sublime Oil also contains Squalane and Hemi-Squalane, two revolutionary hair care actives that care for hair from within, providing softness, flexibility and definition in both curly and straight hair. The result? Visibly softer, silkier, healthier-looking hair.
Does H10 contain silicones?
H10 Sublime Oil contains no silicones; instead it contains Hemi-Squalane, the best natural substitute for silicones.
Hemi-Squalane has become very popular in the hair care industry for its advantages over silicones: it reduces frizz, protects colour, improves combability and manageability, and protects against heat.
Can you apply this oil anywhere other than your hair?
Yes, you can apply this oil to your hair and also to your nails, with great results.
Once you try it, you'll see it's not optional: it's the finishing touch.
